今天的PC Show之行

今天是PC Show 2008的第一天。去了回来，战果很丰富。除了Modem花去了117元以外，其余的东西都是我签Starhub
maxonline的赠品和战利品。话说笔记本电脑是PC Show一定送的，但数码相机和手机就是因为我是early
bird才拿到的。和JI是在11点的时候才临时决定要去的，公车地铁上晃悠并且烈日下暴晒后才到达suntec。排队的时候，已经是开门后16分钟了。等排到我们的时候已经不知道是第N个顾客了。SH的哥哥得知我是要签新线的后，立马给了我一个绿色的小牌，问之答曰free camera。巧得很，前50名新客户才有的好事刚好让我遇上了。原来是签新线的人并不多，知道这个好康的人也不多。原本以为只是一台很差的没牌子的相机，结果拿到的时候还是吃了惊，送的是samsung的7.2Mp的相机。我和JI还在猜它有多少钱，回去查后发现多少也有快300。手机差了点，不过有也不错。没花什么钱却大包小包的回来，心情很好。但是想到以后每个月的网费，哎……笔记本电脑也不是白拿的。

以下是在HWZ总结的今天的事情

(1) free gift 1: HP 2133 Mini-Note PC



- they don't give u PC directly. instead it's a piece of page
(acknowledge letter) stating that the laptop can be collected frm 7
july - 31 aug at funan digital life mall



(2) free gift 2: Samsung NV3, 7.2Mp camera



- go there as early as possible, as the first few customers get free
camera (for new sign up of MOL) or 120G portable HD (for student plan).
when ur queue is near the counter, the promoter ll ask u about what u r
going to sign. if ur answer is "new sign up of max online" and u r one
of the 1st 50 customers, he ll give u a token. using that token u can
go to redemption counter with ur contract to get the camera.



(3) free gift 3: Nokia 1208 phone



- very basic one

- first 200 customers can get this phone, got red and black color to choose



(3) MAC ID:



- take down the mac id of ur cable modem if u want to use ur own modem
(i.e., previously not used for ur account or u buy 2nd hand one)

without mac id, they won't allow me to sign the MOL, unless i buy a new one from them there

- not need for re-contract as they hv that info already



(4) VECM



- i buy the voice enabled cable modem there at $117.7



- the sales person was not sure of the price, she wrote 99 at first
after some guy (also sales) insisted that its price has been dropped.
then in the end at the cashier they realized it's wrong n corrected it





(5) Something that i m not quite sure



- maxonline (premium n ultimate) with notebook promotion can enjoy 10% discount for monthly subscription, but maxonline plus
(premium n ultimate) with notebook promotion doesn't have the 10%
right? how come i know someone got the "plus" and still have the 10%
discount? sales person's mistake?
